Beasley, Willie Faye 


GLADEWATER -- Public memorial services for Willie Fay Beasley, 88, of 
Gladewater, will be held 2 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2006, at Friendship 
Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Davis officiating. A private family 
burial will be held. Born October 9, 1917, in Gladewater, Texas, she 
died Friday, June 30, 2006, in Hughes Springs, Texas. She and her 
husband, Coy Amos Beasley, operated their grocery business until his 
death in 1977. She then operated her own resale business until 2001. 
She was a lifetime member of Friendship Baptist Church. She is 
survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Debbie Beasley of 
Whitehouse; two daughters and son-in-law, Betty Guerrant of Lubbock, 
and Debbie and Mickey Rorex of Hughes Springs; grandsons and spouses, 
Phillip and Erin Rorex of Hughes Springs, Matthew and Rachel Guerrant 
of Fort Worth, Justin Guerrant of Dallas, and Jeffrey Beasley of 
Whitehouse; granddaughters and spouses, Mistie and Ricky Colegrove of 
Dallas, and Megan Rorex of Hughes Springs; and sister, Theo Doerge of 
Bryan. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Phillip Wayne 
Beasley; and great-granddaughter, Gracie Elizabeth Rorex. If so desired, 
memorials may be made to the Friendship Cemetery Association, c/o Richard 
Rose, 22861 CR 3107, Gladewater, Texas 75647. The family will receive 
friends from 5-6:30 p.m. today, July 2, 2006, at Croley Funeral Home in 
Gladewater. Following the memorial service, a reception for the public 
will be held in the Fellowship Hall of Friendship Baptist Church.
