Bellis, Jeanette Services for Jeanette Bellis, 68, of Gilmer, will be noon Saturday, July 22, 2006, at Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Longview, with Chaplain Jessie Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Gum Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Bellis died Wednesday morning, July 19, 2006, at her residence. She was born May 19, 1938, in Hallsville, to T.O. and Ruby Cochran Bullock. She was a lifelong area resident. Jeanette was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. For 47 years, she was a devoted employee of Brookshire Food Stores, where she worked in the meat department. Jeanette liked antiques, collecting, and ceramics. She spent many fun-filled times fishing and hunting. Jeanette is survived by her husband, Gari of Gilmer; a daughter, Teresa Johnson of Longview; a son, Ricky Johnson of Longview; stepdaughter, Patti Pitts of Salado; grandsons, Tanner and Logan Pitts; sisters, Barbara Parker of Longview, and Dorothy McDonald of Hallsville; brother, Ronnie Bullock of Longview; along with a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday evening, July 21, 2006, at Rader Funeral Home at 1617 Judson Road in Longview. A memorial guestbook may be signed online at www.raderfh.com.
