Funeral Rites of Mrs M E Blake Are Held Monday 
 
Funeral Services for Mrs Mary Etta Blake, 64, were held Monday afternoon from 
the First Christian church with the Rev Wooten of Lufkin officiating. Mrs Blake 
was a resident of Longview for a number of years, but for the past few years has 
resided in Houston where she died Saturday night. Her body reached Longview 
Sunday afternoon. Burial was in Grace Hill cemetery with arrangements in charge 
of Welch's. Mrs Blake was formerly Mrs Etta Scott.
