Blalack, Fannie Lee Funeral services for Fannie Lee Blalack, 82, of Longview, will be held noon Saturday, September 30, 2006, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home, with Dr. Ray Tenpenny officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She was born August 12, 1924, in Orange, Texas, to W.B. and Mary Jane Phillips. She went to her heavenly home on September 27, 2006, in Longview. She was a member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.B. and Mary Jane Phillips; husband, Elgie Leon Blalack; one grandson, Brian Blalack; and two brothers, Elmer Phillips and Eddie B. Phillips. One son, Jerry Blalack and wife, Margaret of Kilgore; and daughters, Glenda Hearnsberger and husband, Joe Hearnsberger, and Kathy Stuckey, both of Longview; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Lou Wiess; and one brother, Billy Phillips, survive Mrs. Blalack. She will be greatly missed by many. Her caring and giving to others will always be remembered. Her love of playing the piano brought enjoyment to the many residents of the nursing home.
