November 9, 1988 May Dee Booth Services for May Dee "Bee" Flewellen Booth, 67, of Longview will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Rader Funeral Home with Dr. William Rawlins officiating. Burial will be in Grace hill Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home. Mrs. Booth died Wednesday morning following a sudden illness. She was born Sept. 9, 1921, in Longview to a pioneer family and was a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Longview High School and attended Southern Methodist University where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She was a member of the Holy Trinity United Church of Christ, William B. Young Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, General Society of Mayflower Descendants and High Hopes Garden Club. She and her sisters donated Flewellen Park to the city of Longview. Survivors include her husband, Edwin R.; Michael "Mickey" of Memphis, Tenn.; daughter, Karon Booth Jackson of Lakeside, Calif.; sister, Katherine Colburn of Baytown; granddaughters, Melissa and Jennifer; grandsons, David Jackson and Gregory. She was preceded in death by son, Gary.
