Catherine Adams Bowen 
 
Graveside services for Catherine Adams Bowen, 64, of Longview will be 7 p.m. 
Wednesday in teh Grace Hill Cemetery with Dr. Bill O'Neal officiating. 

Mrs Bowen died Friday in Houston following a lengthy illness. 

She was born Aug 8, 1923, in Longview and was a member of the First Presbyterian 
Church. Mrs Bowen worked with Longview public schools, taught ballroom dancing 
and was an artist. After leaving Longview, she was a florist. 

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Francis Randolph "Randy" and Ann 
Rutledge of Raleight, N.C.; daugther, Karen Elizabeth "Beth" of Houston; mother, 
Irene Henderson Adams of Longview; sisters, Mrs. Charles Stevenson of Longview 
and Mrs. H.M. Caskey of Austin; brother, Joseph Adams of Longview; and four 
grandchildren.
