Box, Candis Malone 


GILMER -- Services for Candis Malone Box, 47, of Garland, will be 2 p.m. 
Saturday, August 12, 2006, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day 
Saints in Longview, with Bishop Ken Menges officiating. Interment will 
be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview. Arrangements are under the 
direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer. After an unexpected 
illness, she left this earth August 8, 2006. She was preceded in death 
by her father, Bill Malone; and brother, Mike Malone. She is survived 
by her husband, Ronnie Box; son, Adam Pickard; mother, Enid Hastings; 
sisters, Lisa Herbert and Pam Malone; and a large number of nieces, 
nephews, and family members. She was born June 20, 1959, in Anaheim, 
Calif., to Bill and Enid Malone. She attended Kilgore College and 
received her associate degree. She worked as an operating room 
technician. She worked for various doctors in Longview. After her 
marriage to Ronald Box, she had resided in Garland for the last 17 
years, caring for her family and pets. In lieu of flowers, she would 
love for memorial contributions be made to the Dallas Children's 
Medical Center.
