Sunday Morning December 17, 1933 Brady Rites Will Be Held today At Family Residence Funeral services for Joe Brady, 66, retired Texas and Pacific railway engineer who died of a heart attack Friday, will be held from the Brady residence at 3 p.m. Sunday, with Rev. George D Dickinson, of Longview and Reverand Myers of Shreveport in charge. Mr. Brady had lived in Longview 39 years. He was one of the few remaining veterans of the Texas and Pacific run from Longview to Texarkana. He was retired eight years ago after 39 years of service. Since that time he had been engaged in the cafe business. He is survived by his widow and three sisters, Mrs R L Catterton, Paris; Mrs I W McKinney and Mrs Nell Speak, both of Shawnee, Okla. Burial will be in Grace Hill cemetery with Forman's in charge of arrangements.
