Thursday November 13, 1930 Vestal Brice Succumbs to Long Illness Young Longview Man Dies in LaGrange: Body To Be Brought Here Vestal Brice, 21, son of Mr and Mrs W. H. Brice of Longfview, died at 8:30 o'clock last night at LaGrange, Texas, where he had been ill for several weeks with typhoid fever. His sister, Miss Grace Brice of Longview and brother Joe Brice of Navasota were with him when he died. His body will be shipped here for burial. It is expected to arrive this afternoon on the Texas. Funeral services will be held sometime Friday with burial at Grace Hill cemetery. He is survived by his parents, five brothers, Joe Brice, of Navasota, Wesley, Virgil, Wallace and Harry Brice of Longview, and three sisters, Mrs R. H Rothwell, Miss Grace and Martha Brice, all of Longview.
