W. H Britton

Died at his home in east Longview last Monday, William H Britton, aged 50 years.

Mr Britton was born in Michigan; came to Longview 18 years ago and had been in 
the employ of the Texas and Pacific Railway for many years; a member of the B of 
L.F. & E and the Carmen. He was brave, generous, manly.He was the sole of honor 
and his friends were sacred to him. As a husband, he was kind and thoughtful.

The funeral was conducted from the home Tuesday at 3 p.m. by Rev. J. W. Bergen. 
The attendance was large, there being present about fifteen or twenty members of 
the B of L. F. & E and Carmen from Marshall. The remains were interred at Grace 
Hill cemetery. 

To the broken hearted wife we extend our deepest sympathy.
