Brock, Vernice Jean 

KILGORE -- Services for Vernice Jean Brock, 86, will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 10, 
2006, at Rader Funeral Home Chapel of Kilgore. Interment is pending. Mrs. Brock 
died April 7, 2006, at a Dallas hospital. Born January 3, 1920, in Oklahoma, she 
was active in her community as a Brownie leader, Girl Scout leader and volunteer 
for the PTA and American Red Cross. She touched the lives of many through her 
incredible spirit and endless love. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Brock; 
children, Kenneth Brock Jr. and Patricia J. Brock; sister, Ruby Merrifield; and 
brother, Jack Kirkpatrick. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today, April 9, 2006, at
