Brown, Clyde "Uncle Dock" 

Services for Clyde "Uncle Dock" Brown, 90, of Longview, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, 
April 1, 2006, at Growing Valley Baptist Church, with the Rev. C.E. Faulks 
officiating. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Bigham 
Mortuary. Mr. Brown died March 25, 2006, in Longview. Born in the Indian Rock 
community of Gilmer, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during World War II, 
and founder of Brown Sales. Survivors include his wife, Carrie Lee Brown; brothers, 
H.P. Brown and Martin Brown III; and sister, Maurine King. Visitation will be 6-7 
p.m. today.
