Louis E. Brown

Services for Louis E. Brown, 89, of Longview will be 2 p.m. Thursday at 
Welch Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. J. W. Hagler officiating. Burial will 
be in Grace Hill cemetery.

Mr Brown died Tuesday at a local nursing home after a long illness. 

Mr. Brown was born in Hallsville and was a lifetime resident of the area. 
He was a member of the Mobberly Avenue Church of Christ. A retired carpenter, 
he also was a member of carpenter's union. 

Survivors include sons, Henry and Albert F., both of Longview, and Harold 
Ben of Bridge City, Texas; daughters, Mrs Price ( Frances ) Rogers and Mrs. 
John ( Joy ) Kemp, both of Longview; brothers, Donnie L. and A.E. both of 
Longview and Chester, of Mineola; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
