Mrs Fannie I Brown

Mrs Fannie I. Brown died last Friday at 6 p.m. in this city at the 
home of her son, Ben B. Brown.

Mrs. Brown was 77 years of age; a native of Mississippi; came to 
Texas in 1865; married to Col. J.G. Brown in 1866; to them three 
children were born, Ben B., Frank B. and Charles T. Brown, all of 
whom are citizens of Longview; she was a member of the Presbyterian 
church.

The funeral was at 2:30 Sunday at the Presbyterian church, 
conducted by Revs. J. S. Baird and J. A. Holton. The remains were 
laid to rest in Grace Hill cemetery.

We sincerely sympathize with the children and other relatives.
