Monday March 17, 1924 Mrs Roxie Brown Dead at Her Home Near This city Mrs Roxie Brown, 35 years old, died Sunday afternoon at about _____ o'clock at the family residence, two miles west of Longview on the Gladewater road. The deceased is survived by her husband and seven small children. Funeral will be held from the residence this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock with services conducted by the Rev. F. E. Luker, pastor of Kelly Memorial Methodist church. The sympathy of the entire community is extended the grieved husband and family. -------- Mondy March 19. 1924 Funeral Here Monday For Mrs Roxie Brown Mrs Roxie Brown, daughter of the Rev. and Mrs W. A. Reynolds, died Sunday afternoon and ther funeral was held Monday, with the burial in the Grace Hill cemetery, quite a number attending the funeral services. Mrs Brown was born at Erin, Tenn., November 10, 1885, and therefore was 38 years, 4 months and 6 days old at the time of her death. Mrs Brown professed religion at the age of twelve years, uniting with the Methodist Episcopal South church, at Trinity, Houston county, Tenn., and has since been a faithful member of the church. December 30, 1907, she was united in marriage to Melvin Brown and this union was blessed with the birth of seven children, for boys and three girls.
