Services for Dot Campbell Burns, 86, of Roanoake will be 9 a.m. Thursday 
at Baker Funeral Home in Fort Worth.

Burial will be 1 p.m. in Grace Hil Cemetery in Longview.

Mrs. Burns died Monday morning at her residence. 

She had lived in Roanoke for 53 years and had lived in Rusk County for 18 
years. She was a retired cook and pastry keeper at the Austin Dude Ranch 
and Riding Stables. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Henderson 
and Old Mount Carmel Baptist Church. She attended Henderson public schools 
and Mary Ellen College in Crockett. She was a member of several organizations.
Survivors include her daughter, Venora Burns Meeks of Fort Worth; sister, 
Rosie L. Johnson and allene Brown, both of Washington, D. C.; 11 grand-children; 
27 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
