Mr. Bentz died February 13, 2007. Born September 11, 1952, in Tyler, he owned and operated Larry Bentz Painting and attended Landmark Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Rose Ann McInnis Bentz; daughters, Rose Hernandez, Heather Stevenson and Misty Hembrough; sons, Jason Skelton and Chris Yarbrough; and brothers, Dennis Bentz and John Bentz. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2007, at the funeral home. He was escorted to Heaven by his son, Larry Wayne; and parents, Carl and Frances Bentz. He was born September 11, 1952, in Tyler. He owned and operated Larry Bentz Painting in the Longview area for 15 years. Larry was fondly known as "Big Daddy" by his many friends. He attended the Landmark Baptist Church in Tyler. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Rose Ann McInnis Bentz of Longview; three daughters, Rose and Eddie Hernandez of Whitehouse, Heather and Jermaine Stevenson of Whitehouse and Misty and Shawn Hembrough of Lewisville; two sons, Jason Skelton and Katrina DeLeon of Jourdanton, Texas, and Chris and Traci Yarbrough of Gilmer; two brothers, Dennis and Wanda Bentz of Tyler, and John Bentz of Dallas; and nine wonderfully loved blessings of grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2007, at the Welch Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Mike Daniels officiating.
