GILMER -- Services for Jim Brannon, 83, of Longview, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, 
October 19, 2006, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home Chapel of Gilmer. Interment will 
follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Brannon died October 16, 2006, in 
Longview. Born May 27, 1923, in Garland, he was a retired truck driver and 
member of Union Ridge Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Sibyl 
Brannon; and son, Tim Brannon. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral 
home.
