Brown, Jimmy Alvin Jimmy Brown was born July 25, 1938, in Hamlin, and he passed away Monday, October 16, 2006, in Shreveport, La. Mr. Brown was a graduate of Sabine High School and lived most of his life in the Sabine/Kilgore area. After high school graduation, Mr. Brown served in the U.S. Air Force. He was an avid sports fan, who loved the Texas Aggies and loved watching his grandson, Riley, play baseball and his granddaughter, Sarah, dance. His parents, A.E. and Louetta Brown, preceded him in death. He is survived by his son, Wade Brown and his wife, Heidi, of Kilgore; and his daughter, Lacy Toler and her husband, Chris, of Kilgore. His grandchildren, Riley and Sarah Toler, were the light of his life. He is also survived by one brother, Jerry Brown of Kilgore; and one sister, Shari Adams of Longview. Several nieces and nephews also survive him. Honoring his wishes, there will be no services. Published in the Longview News-Journal on 10/18/2006.
