Byrd, Marcy Horton KILGORE -- Services for Marcy Horton Byrd, 40, of Mexia, Kilgore, and Laneville, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2007, at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel, with the Reverend Brother Hoover officiating. Burial will follow in the Laneville Cemetery. Mrs. Byrd died as the result of an automobile accident Tuesday, January 23, 2007, in Farrar, Texas. She was bom February 18, 1966, in Kilgore, Texas. Marcy attended Kilgore public schools and was a graduate of Kilgore High School and Kilgore College. While living in Kilgore, she worked at Kilgore College, where she was a tutor for the Star Program. Marcy worked at Sandy Brooks Girls Ranch for a while. When living in Laneville, she had many community activities, including volunteering for the Laneville Fire Department and Toys for Tots. She continued her Toys For Tots work as she moved around, including the N.E.W.S. Motorcycle Club and Cossack Motorcycle Club. Marcy worked for McNeely Service Co., and she owned and operated MB Security Services. She enjoyed fishing,camping, all animals, particularly horses, and motorcycling. Her father, William D. Horton of Birmingham, Ala., preceded Mrs. Byrd in death. Mrs. Byrd is survived by her husband, Jessie Byrd of Mexia, Kilgore, and Lane-ville; children, Johnny and wife, Patti Byrd of Dumfries, Va., Jessica and husband, Justin Svetlik of Houston, Christopher Byrd of Mexia, Adam and wife, Tracy Horton of Palestine, Aaron Kearney of Benson, Ariz., and Brandee Kearney of Benson, Ariz.; brothers and sisters, Billy Horton of Kilgore, Daryll and wife, Jeanette Horton of Kilgore, Lorrie Doyle of Mobile, Ala., Daniel and wife, Linda Horton of Kilgore, USCG stationed in Jacksonville, Fla., Jason Driver of Tyler, Kilgore, and Longview; mother, Vivian Charley Driver of Tyler, Kilgore, and Longview; grandmother, Nady Reid of Bogata, Texas; aunt, Barbara Reid of Mount Pleasant; grandchildren, Mattox Byrd, Christopher Byrd, Zachery Byrd, and Jordan Byrd; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
