Benton, Melvin Marie Hatcher   	 

February 10, 1936 - June 20, 2007

Services for Melvin Marie Hatcher Benton, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, 
June 23, 2007, at Parkview Baptist Church, with the Reverend J.C. Watkins 
officiating.

Her earthly pilgrimage came to a well-accepted end at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday 
afternoon, June 20, 2007, at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview.

One brother, R.C. Hatcher, preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory one loving and devoted daughter, Delores 
Ann Brantley Coleman; one grandson, Correy James Rider, both of Longview; 
one sister, Gloria Jamerson of Longview; and six brothers, Willie Gene, 
Hubert and Larry, all of Longview, Wilbert Earl and Mary of Dallas, Billie 
Gene of Los Angeles, California and Clarence Hatcher Jr. and Charlotte of 
Memphis, Tennessee. She also leaves aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; two 
cousins she shared fond memories with Ruby Tryon and Terry Beall; also with 
other relatives and friends.
