Brown, Kimberly Applegate MADISONVILLE - Memorial services for Kimberly Applegate Brown, 38, of Bedias, formerly of Gladewater, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2007, at Clarksville City Baptist Church in Gladewater, with the Rev. Wayne McKay and the Rev. Roger officiating. Mrs. Brown died May 30, 2007, at a medical center. Born October 5, 1968, in Denton, she was a Gladewater High School honors graduate, Kilgore Junior College and Texas A&M University student and a member of Bedias Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Joe Brown; parents, Grady and Patricia Applegate; brother, Vernon Applegate; and sister, Judy VanHouten. Kimberly went home to her Lord and Savior on May 30, 2007, at College Station Medical Center, following a lengthy battle with anorexia. She was born October 5, 1968, in Denton. In 1969, her family moved to Gladewater, where she lived until she left for college. She was an honor graduate of Gladewater High School and attended Kilgore Junior College and Texas A&M University. She was a member of Bedias Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Joe Brown of Bedias; her parents, Grady and Patricia Applegate of Gladewater; her brother and sister-in-law, Vernon and Tracy Applegate of Fort Worth; her sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Donnie VanHouten of Gladewater; her niece, Holly VanHouten of Denton; and nephews, Brian VanHouten of Gladewater and Wyatt Applegate of Fort Worth.
