William Calloway BOLTON, 89, Jacksonville’s oldest native citizen and father of Mrs. Thomas D. 
Campbell of Longview was buried on Monday after funeral services from the First Methodist 
church of Jacksonville.

Mr. Bolton was born and reared in Jacksonville. He was one of the city’s earliest postmasters, 
express agent, and banker. During his early business career Mr. Bolton operated a dry goods 
store and hardware store.
