Funeral services for Ada Louise Anderson Brewton, 92, of Longview, will be 2 PM Tuesday in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Bill Cunningham and Dewayne Beaty officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Park Cemetery. Mrs. Brewton died Saturday afternoon in a Longview nursing center. A native of Longview, she was born April 26, 1909 to Carl and Mabel Anderson and was the granddaughter of Dr. Norman Ogilvie, the first dentist in Longview. Mrs. Brewton was a retired school teacher. She taught one year at Spring Hill Schools and 30 years at South Ward School. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Fedilis Sunday School class, Longview Museum, Fine Arts Club, AARP, Teacher Retirement, Gold Key Club, Classic Care and many church social groups. She had traveled in 40 states, Europe and Canada. She was preceded in death by her husband, B. M. ''Jelly'' Brewton, whom she married in 1929 and a son: Mack Anderson Brewton and Brother: Norman Carl Anderson. Mrs. Brewton is survived by a Daughter: Barbara Buce and husband Carl of Longview; Daughter in law: Patricia Brewton of Longview; Cousins: Charles and Helen Ogilvie of Bridgeport, Illinois, Ginger and George Kattawar of College Station, Texas and Howard Bosser of Tampa, Fl. The family wishes to express their gratefulness to the staff of Good Shepherd Medical Center, The Clairmont Nursing Center and Greater Hospice of Texas. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home from 5 to 7 PM Monday.
