GREGG COUNTY - WYCHE CEMETERY Jan 16, 1954 - Mar 8, 2012 Services for Kenneth Wayne "Teter" Brittain, 58, of Longview, will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Pleasant Green Baptist Church. Teter passed away on Interment will follow in Wyche Cemetery. Arrangements are with Craig Funeral Home. Visitation hours will be from 12-7 p.m. and the family will receive friends Friday, March 9, 2012 from 7-8 p.m. in the Willie Mae Craig Chapel, (located in Craig Funeral Home) . Kenneth Wayne "Teter" Brittain was born on January 16, 1954 to Robbie Brittain and the late George Brittain, Sr. He confessed his faith at an early age and became a member of the Pleasant Green Baptist Church. Kenneth graduated from Longview High School, and also attended Kilgore College. He was employed by Texas Utility and the University of Texas Hospital. Kenneth Brittain united in Holy Matrimony with Sylvia Black on January 16, 2002. He leaves to cherish memory: his wife, Sylvia Brittain, of Tyler, TX.; his mother, Robbie Brittain, of Longview, TX.; two sons, LaKieth Bates (Jaymie), of Longview, TX., Kenney Jackson (Shunda, of Longview, TX.; step-children, Jermain Hampton (Tianicqua), of Mesquite, TX., and LaTasha Richardson, of Tyler, TX.; his brother, George Brittain Jr. (Mary), of Longview, TX.; his sister, Joyce Williams, of Longview, TX.; nine grandchildren, Kenney Jr., Destiny, Ry'Lea, Ambresha, Samaria, Matthew, Trevonte, TyWaun, and Ta'Tianna; two brother-in-laws, Leonard Black (Zelnora), of Tyler, TX., Billy Black, of Tyler, TX.; three sister-in-laws, Emma McGee, Donna Bircher, and Edna Simmons, all of Tyler, TX.; a special niece, Toni (Birdie) Chapell; a special nephew, Corey Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends, that will forever cherish his memory.
