Obituary for Kenneth Dean Brown

Memorial services for Kenneth Dean Brown, 71, of Longview will be 
held at the First Christian Church in Kilgore, 609 East Main St. 
Kilgore, TX 75662 at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 2014 with Bill 
Blanks officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral 
home from 6 to 8 pm Friday. Mr. Brown passed away on Wednesday, 
October 22, 2014 in Longview. 

Mr. Brown was born in Tulsa. OK on April 14, 1943. He retired from 
Petrodyn/Oilgear after over 40 years. He was a devoted husband, 
father and grandfather. He was a friend to anyone that would talk. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Helen Brown. 

He is survived by his wife Jean Brown of Longview; daughter Sandra 
Miller of Longview; son Scot Brown and his wife Meredeth of Kilgore; 
two grandsons and three granddaughters, Michael and Courtlyn of 
Kilgore, Julia, Hannah and Matthew of Longview; his sister-in-law 
Cindy Massey of Longview and his sister Sally McDonald of Carthage.
