MEMORY PARK CEMETERY - GREGG COUNTY


Charles Edward “Chuck” Bair passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, February 18, 2015 in Angleton, Texas.
 
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 21, 2015 at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Longview with Kemper Huber officiating. Burial will be in Memory Park Cemetery under direction of Rader Funeral Home.

Chuck was born November 16, 1930 in Sharon, Pennsylvania. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. 

He retired from Petrolite Co. in Kilgore, TX and was also employed at East Texas Steel Casting Co. of Longview during the 1950s and 1960s. He was also heard regularly on KFRO-AM radio throughout the 1960s-70s.

He was preceded in death by his wife of almost 63 years, Mary Helen Bair; his parents John and Sarah, and brothers Dale, Gordon, and Roland, all of Pennsylvania.
 
He is survived by his son Michael Bair and daughter-in-law Elizabeth, of Pearland, Texas; his brother-in-law Jerry Griffin and his wife Patsy, of Texarkana, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
