GREGG/HARRISON COUNTY - TEMPLE EMANU-EL CEMETERY


Dorothy Boris, 93, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Lefkowitz Chapel at Temple Emanu-El, followed by a graveside service at Temple Emanu-El Cemetery. 

Dorothy was born and raised in Tyler, Texas; she was widowed twice by two wonderful men, John Gordon and Harry Boris. 

Dorothy was the only one of seven sisters who earned her college degree from the University of Texas as Austin. She later became employed in the oil and gas industry as an accountant. Dorothy was always a professional business woman. 

She is survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, as well as her beloved poodle, Baby. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Operation Kindness or to Temple Emanu-El in the name of Dorothy K. and Harry Boris.
