Cashen Sr., Robert W. 

Graveside services for Robert W. Cashen Sr., 80, of Longview, will be 1 p.m. 
Thursday, May 4, 2006, at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Interment 
will follow in DFW National Cemetery. Mr. Cashen died Sunday evening, April 
30, 2006, in a Longview hospital. A native of Peoria, Illinois, he was born 
May 30, 1925, and was a construction contractor. He was a member of the 
Catholic church and had served his country in the U.S. Navy aboard LCI No. 
658 during World War II and served in Korea. He is survived by his wife, 
Betty of Longview; sons, Rick of Fairview, and Bob of Mobile, Alabama; 
sister: Pat Robitski of Marquette Heights, Illinois.; three grandchildren; 
and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 
and a sister, Gloria. The family requests memorial donations be made to M.D. 
Anderson Hospital or Texas Children's Hospital. A memorial guestbook may be
