Mrs. J. R. Castleberry

Died at her home in this city last Monday at about 3 p.m. Mrs. J. R. 
Castleberry, aged 42 years. Her sickness was only of a few hours duration.

The funeral was at the Cumberland Presbyterian church, of which she was a 
member. The services were conducted by Rev. W. B. Allen of Marshall 
assisted by all the local pastors. The remains were interred in Grace Hill 
cemetery.

She was born Lodema Lawrence Feb. 9, 1866 in Alabama and came to Texas at 
an early age. she married J.R. Castleberry Mar. 1, 1882, they had 5 
children, one died in infancy, two daughters and two sons.

We extend our sincere sympathy to the husband and four children and other 
relatives.
