Jasper Leon Cook

Services for Jasper Leon Cook, 73, of Longview will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at 
Rader Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. James Dixon and Walter Gilbreath 
officiaing.

Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Cook died Monday in a Gladewater nursing home.

He was born April 27, 1913, in Cushing and had been a resident of Longview 
since 1932. He was a retired switchman for the Texas and Pacific Railroad 
and he was a member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah; two daughters, Bobbie Burcham and Lynda 
Grizzle, both of Longview; a half-sister, Sue Birdwell of Cushing; two 
brothers, Howard of DeQuincy, La.and Carlon of Dennison; seven grandchildren; 
and a great-grandchild.
