Chester Leon Craker

Services for Chester Leon Craker, 86, of Longview will be 4 p.m. today at 
Welch Funeral Home with the Rev. Mack Spinks officiating. 

Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Craker died Tuesday night in a local hospital.

He was a retired gauger for Skelley Oil Co. He was a member of Valley View 
Baptist Church and Longview Masonic Lodge No. 404. He was a 32nd degree 
Mason and Shriner. He has been a resident of Longview for 50 years, moving 
from West Texas. 

Survivors include his wife, Ima Craker of Longview; stepson, Bill Holmes of 
Henderson; stepdaughters, Sharon Mills of Wichita, Kansas, and Peggy Kerns 
of Fort Worth; brother, Frank Hunter of Oklahoma; sister, Mildred Horton of 
Kilgore; five grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
