Chancelor, Frances E. Services for Frances E. Chancelor, 85, of Longview, will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 30, 2006, at Welch Funeral Home Chapel at 4619 Judson Road, with the Rev. Noah D. Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Chancelor died October 26, 2006, at a local hospital. Born May 15, 1921, in Texas, she worked for Louis Morgan Drug No. 1, and was a member of Longview Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Chancelor passed away Thursday, October 26, 2006, in a local hospital. Mrs. Chancelor was born May 15, 1921, in Texas, to Horace and Lena Stephens McCallum. She grew up in the Jacksonville area and moved from Lufkin in 1953. Mrs. Chancelor was a member of Longview Missionary Baptist Church. She had worked as a clerk for Louis Morgan Drug No. 1 for many years, and enjoyed gardening and the Sewing Club. Mrs. Chancelor was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall "Spud" Chancelor in 2000; two brothers, Pete and Carl; and one sister, Faye. Mrs. Chancelor is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Jan Chancelor of Dallas; one daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn Chancelor and John Jernigan of Waskom; granddaughters, Stephanie Spivey and husband, Jeff, of Longview, and Angie Stockman of Dallas; great-granddaughter, Morgan Spivey of Longview; sister, Syble Bearden of Trinity, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. The family requests memorials be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association, 8330 Meadow Road, Dallas, Texas 75231; the American Cancer Society, Gregg North Unit, P.O.
