Crim, Lyness Smith KILGORE - Memorial services for Lyness Smith Crim, 51, of Salado, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 18, 2007, at First Presbyterian Church, with Dr. William J. Ingersoll officiating. Arrangements are by Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore. Mrs. Crim died June 14, 2007, at her residence. Born March 26, 1956, she loved the solitude of farm life in the Hill Country. Survivors include her brother, Trey Crim. Dr. William J. Ingersoll officiating. Mrs. Crim passed away Thursday, June 14, 2007, at her home in Salado. Lyness was born March 26, 1956. She grew up in Kilgore and attended Kilgore schools and San Marcos Baptist Academy. Lyness moved to Salado in the 1970s and bought a farm, where she lived with her beloved horse, dogs, birds and cats. She loved the solitude of farm life in the Hill Country and living next to nature. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Trey and Wendy Crim of Kilgore; an uncle, Billy Bob Crim of Kilgore; and niece and nephew, Maggie Love and Eric Hudson of Plano. Other survivors are her dogs Mac, Darcy, Buzz and Cholo. Her mother and father, Jamie Love and John T. Crim Jr. precede Lyness in death. The family wishes to thank her caregiver, Gene Heard, who stayed by her side during her brief illness, and friend, Delaney Dudley, who was always there for her. Thanks also go to Ing Knutson, Dorine Stein and Bill Phennie for their caring deeds and friendship. Lyness had many friends and was a good friend to them all. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church Organ Fund.
