Ruth Christa Clark, 79, of Spring Hill passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 surrounded by love. A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview, Texas. 

Ruth was born November 4, 1935 in Walditz, Kreis Löwenberg in Schlesien, Germany. She grew up in Berlin Germany where she met her handsome soldier, Charles I. Clark, whom she married May 8, 1954. 

Ruth proudly became a naturalized citizen of the United States of America on September 3, 1959. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. 

The family would like to express its heartfelt thanks to Hearts Way Hospice for their special care. 

Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Charles I. Clark; her parents, Arthur and Hermine Pratsch and her sister Gunda Feist. 

Survivors: Daughter, Linda French; sons, Michael Clark, Stephen Clark and daughter-in-law Lisa Clark, Roger Clark and daughter-in-law Cheryl Clark; grandchildren, Kayley Mikolajczyk, Christa Clark, Tiffany Clark, Brianna Pippens, Carol Ann Cordell, Stacy Coleman, Kristen Clark; and six great-grandchildren.
