Thursday Afternoon June 15, 1933 Operation Fatal to Girl of Six in Heights Section Vivian Davis, 6 year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Floyd E Davis, of Texas and Moore streets, East Mooreland Height, died Thrusday morning at 5:45 o'clock at a local hospital following an operation performed for appendicitis, early Wednesday morning. She had been ill at her home four days before being taken to the hosptial. Funeral arrangements, which are in charge of Forman's are incomplete, awaiting the arrival of relatives from Chicago. Vivian, a winsome blue-eyed, blond haired child had won the hearts fo the neighbor's whom she had lived the past two years, and her death cast a sorrow over East Mooreland Heights, Thursday. She is survived by her father and mother, and three brothers, Charles, Linden, and Joe. Mr and Mrs Davis and family moved to Longview in 1931 from Oklahoma. Burial Grace Hill cemetery.
