Davidson, Lois Louise Funeral services for Lois Louise Davidson, 87, of Longview, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2007, at Longview First Assembly of God with the Rev. Randy Carter, Pastor of the Longview First Assembly of God Church, and the Rev. Brent McDaniel, grandson of Louise Davidson, officiating. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Davidson was born December 18, 1919, in Browndel, Texas, to William Andrew and Mary Elizabeth Roberts. She had lived in Longview since 1947, coming from Shreveport, La. Louise died February 10, at her home after a lengthy illness. Louise was a member of Longview First Assembly of God Church. She was a wonderful wife, a loving mother and a beautiful Christian who worshipped the Lord continuously. She has left a spiritual legacy to her children and grandchildren by her firm belief in God and her daily walk with Jesus. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Joe Houston Davidson; her parents; her sisters, Pearl Wilson and Lillie Mae Johnson; and a great-grandson, Daniel Rae. She is survived by her children an their spouses, Shirley and Billy Freeman of Hallsville, Joe and Trudy Davidson of Greenville, Peggy Davidson of Longview and Kathy and Wesley McDaniel of Texarkana; two brothers, Lavern Roberts of Silsbee and Lovell Roberts of Whitehouse; one sister, Gearldean Gann of Gilmer; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today, February 12, 2007, at the funeral home, 1617 Judson Rd.
