Mr. Davis was born April 23, 1919, in Longview, to James Dewitt and Ethel Irene Rodden Davis. He was a World War II veteran serving in the United States Army. He was a member of Diana Methodist Church and the Longview Bowling Association. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and golfing. Preceding Mr. Davis in death were his wife, Edna Meadows Davis; his parents; and his sister, Lorene Small. Survivors include his nieces, Rachel Small and Sandy Small of Longview, and Myrna Bradley and spouse, John, of Avinger; great-niece, Dawn Olivas and spouse, Michael, of Longview; great-nephew, Adam Bradley and spouse, Michelle, of Avinger; sisters-in-law, Erma Meadows of Kilgore, and Marjorie Meadows of Lake O' The Pines; and great-great-nephews, Aaron and Chris Olivas of Longview.
