Dunagan, Frankie C. Funeral services for Frankie C. Dunagan, 60, of Hallsville, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, with Brother Terrell Pearson officiating. Burial will be in Gum Springs Cemetery. Mr. Dunagan was born November 20, 1946, in Georgetown, Texas. He was a machinist for Daily Electric Co. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and served in Vietnam. Mr. Dunagan was a recipient of 3 Purple Hearts and numerous other awards. He coached all little league sports for more than 30 years and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and a Jeff Gordon fan. Mr. Dunagan was on the Hallsville School Board for 10 years. He lived his life for his family and precious grandkids. Mr. Dunagan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Thula Dunagan, and Charles and Susie Dickens. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 31 years, Lennie Dunagan; daughter, Kristi Branch and husband, Scott; sons, Frankie Dunagan II and wife, Tricia, and Joey Dunagan and wife, Emily; grandchildren, Connor, Carson and Karly Branch, Dalton and Dylon Dunagan, and Abby and Sawyer Dunagan; father, Frank Dunagan; mother and stepfather, Gladys and Jack Gill; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Ben Cross; and numerous nieces and nephews.
