Dunn, Frances Funeral services for Frances Dunn, 85, of Longview, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2007, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, with the Reverend Scott Schulik officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. She passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2007, in Longview. Mrs. Dunn was born July 25, 1921, in Creek, Texas, to James and Pat Dawson, and had been a resident of Longview since 1946. After graduating from Austonio High School, she attended Sam Houston University, where she met and later married Ralph Andrew Dunn, who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a volunteer at Good Shepherd Medical Center. Mrs. Dunn was a member of Mobberly Baptist Church, where she was the junior high department director and a Sunday school teacher. She served on several committees, including the pastor search committee that brought Dr. Laney Johnson to Longview. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, J.E. Dawson. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Edwin Poorman of Fort Wayne, Ind.; son, Andy Dunn of Longview; grandchildren, Shane Poorman and his wife, Stephanie, and Heather Dunn; and great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Kaytlin Poorman.
