CEMETERY OR CREMATION - GREGG COUNTY??


Thora Margaret Doucette age 73, passed away November 8, 2014 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. 

She was born September 12, 1941 in Harlingen, Texas to Walter and Mable Poneleit. It was in Harlingen that Margaret attended local schools growing up and graduated from High School. She went on to higher education and earned her Master’s Degree in Fine Arts and taught in various schools in Texas including at Trinity in Longview. Margaret became a highly recognized professional artist both in California and Texas.

Those left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Charles Doucette, her daughter Anna Marie Wood, a sister Josephine P. Leach, Step-children Paul Doucette, Kristin Goodwin and Natalia N. Haines, numerous grandchildren, 4 nephews, 7 grand nieces and nephews and extend family. She will be sorely missed by all. 

Her parents precede her in passing.

Friends are welcome to join the family for a Celebration of Her Life Service 2pm Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview.
