Herbert William Emmet Sr

Services for Herbert William Emmet Sr., 74, of Longview will be 2 p.m. Friday at 
Welch Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Emmet died Tuesday in a  Longview hospital.

He was a retired maintenance worker with Marathon LeTourneau and was a Baptist. 
He served with the U.S. Army in World War II and had been a resident of Longview 
since 1930.

Survivors include his wife, Estelle; son, Herbert Jr. of Longview; two daughters, 
Imogene Stewart of Longview and Melba Rodrigues of San Jacinto, Calif.; brother, 
Fred of Longview; sister, Clara Shepard of Longview; and seven grandchildren.
