Epting, Mary Elizabeth Mary Elizabeth Epting, 80, of Longview, passed away October 5, 2006, at a Longview hospital. Mrs. Epting was born August 19, 1926, in Whitesboro, Texas, to John and Lorene Schick Korioth. She was a homemaker, a member of the Lucky Squares Square Dancing Club, and a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Mrs. Epting was preceded in death by her husband, Walter in 1995; two granddaughters, Felicia Epting and Misty Stroud; four brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law; Bob and Teri Epting of Hallsville, Tom and Pandora Epting of Denver, and Roy and Karen Epting of Fort Worth; one daughter and son-in-law; Mary and John Sneed of Houston; one brother; four sisters; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, October 9, 2006, in the chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home, with Father Mark Dunne officiating. Entombment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Sunday afternoon, October 8, 2006, at the funeral home.
