Estep, Gene KILGORE - Services for Gene Estep, 43, of Kilgore, will be 1 p.m., Friday, August 3, 2007, at Lyttleton Baptist Church in Manchester, Kentucky, with the Rev. Buddy Duggins officiating. Burial will follow in Estep Cemetery in Red Bird, Kentucky. Mr. Estep went to be with his Lord Saturday, July 28, 2007, as the result of an automobile accident near Marshall, Texas. He was born June 23, 1964, in Hyden, Kentucky. Mr. Estep attended Big Creek public schools and was a graduate of Clay County High School. He attended Alice Lloyd College. Gene married Tammy Woods June 1, 1985. Their family moved to Kilgore in 1994. They immediately joined the Forest Home Baptist Church, where Gene served as one of the deacons. He was currently the owner/operator of Ballard Septic Tank Services. Gene was an avid fisherman. Mr. Estep is survived by his wife, Tammy Estep of Kilgore; daughter and son-in-law, Kayla and Dustin Glaze of Kilgore; son, Brent Estep of Kilgore; parents, Carter and Joyce Estep of Big Creek, Kentucky; grandmother, Eva Trout of Whitesburg, Kentucky; three brothers, Gary Estep and his wife, Marlene, of Big Creek, Ruben Estep of Big Creek and Dean Estep and his wife, Ruth, of Hector, Kentucky; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore this evening between 6-9; they will also be receiving friends at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, Kentucky, between 6-9 p.m., Thursday, August 2, 2007.
