"Bud" Fisher Dies At Home on Wednesday

Funeral services for J P Fisher, 64, will be held Wednesday afternon 
at 5 o'clock from the family home at 334 W Tyler street with burial 
in the Grace Hill cemetery.

Mr Fisher died at his home early Wednesday morning after a lengthy 
illness.

Mr Fisher was a pioneer of Gregg county and spent practicaly his 
entire life in this section, being active in the early development 
of Longview. He was active until the last year.

Surviving are his widow and two children; Leonard Fisher of Mineola 
and Miss Maud Fisher of Longview; one sister, Mrs Jennie Swanson of 
Quitman, and a brother, John Fisher of Longview. 

The Rev W R Harber of the Pine Tree Presbyterian church will officiate 
at the final rites.

Arrangements will be in charge of Welch's.
