Tuesday Afternoon June 27, 1933 Mrs N D Foote, Long Ill, Dies Monday Nite, Was Past Worthy Matron of Longview Chapter Eastern Star Mrs Minnie Foote, wife of N D Foote, retired Texas and Pacific railway employe, died at her home on Mobberly avenue Monday night at 11:30o'clock, after a lingering illness. Her husband and their only child, Mrs G A Hughes of Mineola, were at her bedside when the time came. Funeral services will be held at the home Wednesday morning at 9:30 with Rev John L Whorton, pastor of the First Baptist church officiation. Longview Chapter #610 of the Order of Eastern Star will hold services at the grave. Burial will be in Grace Hill cemetery. Mrs Foote was past worthy matron of the chapter. She was a native of Mississippi, but had made her home here for the past 20 years, where she was highly esteemed around a large circle of friends. Besides her husband and daughter, she is survived by two grand-daughters, Retha and Duane Hughes. Pallbearers will be; Dush Shaw, J T Young, Dr E H Hamilton, J W Gordon, H A Brooke, Dave Gore, E B Douglas and Lawrence Birdsong.
