Faughn, James "Pepaw" Memorial services, with cremation, for James "Pepaw" Faughn, 58, of Longview, will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2007, at the Welch Funeral Home Chapel, 4619 Judson Road, with Mandy Armstrong and Sandy Haraguchi officiating. Mr. Faughn died Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at a local nursing facility. Mr. Faughn was born March 26, 1949, in Trenton, N.J., to John and Mary Faughn. He grew up in Louisiana and was a longtime resident of Longview. Mr. Faughn was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Faughn. Survivors include his wife, Marian Faughn of Longview; son, Justin Faughn and spouse, Laura of Longview; daughter, Mandy Armstrong and husband, Brian of Longview; stepson, Collin Miller of Longview; parents, John and Mary Faughn of Bossier City;, La.; sisters, Sandy Haraguchi and husband, Nate of Bossier City, La. and Sue Cedars and husband, Charles of Tennessee; grandchildren, Chelsea Akin, Mallary Riddle and Emily Riddle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
