Foster, Clara   
	
Clara Foster, 84, formerly of Kilgore, died Tuesday, 
February 13, 2007, in Tyler. She was born April 8, 
1922, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Arlus and Rose 
Barnett. Clara was a longtime member of the First 
Baptist Church in Liberty City and was a beauty 
operator by trade. She was preceded in death by her 
husband, Joe Foster; and daughter, Jimmie Cairns. 
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, William 
Foster of Longview; daughter, Jolene Alvarez and 
husband, Louis, of Tyler; brother, James Barnett of 
Falls Church, Virginia; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-
grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. 
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, 
February 16, 2007, at the chapel of Lakeview Funeral 
Home. The Rev. Bruce Wells will officiate. Burial will 
follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. The family will 
receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening, February 
15, 2007, at Lakeview Funeral Home. Online condolences
