Fowler, P J

GLADEWATER -- Services for P.J. "Sonny Boy" Fowler, of Gladewater, will be 2 p.m. Friday, 
March 25, 2005, at Union Temple Church, with the Rev. M. L. Leftridge officiating. 
Arrangements are by McCauley & Son Funeral Home. P.J. was born December 20, 1925, in 
Gladewater. He attended Weldon Elementary and High School. He worked in at the the East 
Texas Tuberculosis Hospital (U.T. Tyler), and Care Inn Nursing Home of Gladewater. He kept 
the lawns looking beautiful for Mrs.. Helen Lee, Mrs. T.W. Lee, Dr. and Mrs. Bain Leake, 
and Maxine Stein. P.J. was preceded in death by his parents, Della and Albert Fowler; 
brother, Albert Fowler; and sister, Roxie Mae Downs. Survivors include his daughter, 
Katheryn Jo Locke of Fort Worth; son, A.P. Fowler of Duncanville; five grandchildren; 12 
great-grandchildren; and six step-children. He is also survived by long-time friends, 
Herman Tyeskie, Maxine Stein, Jean Gafford, and many other family members, loved ones, and 
caring friends. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today, March 24, 2005, at Union Temple Church, 
Roden Ln. and Johnson St., Gladewater.
