Fowler, Sandra Kay   	

A memorial service in honor of Sandra Kay "Sandy" Fowler will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday 
evening, August 11, 2007, at the home of Patrick and Crystal Bowles, 1825 Wellington Lane in 
Longview.

Mrs. Fowler died Friday, August 3, 2007, at her home after a two-year battle with cancer.

Mrs. Fowler was born October 9, 1948, in Harleton, to Elsie and Ira Melton Sr. She was a 
lifetime resident of Longview. Sandy worked in her home for many years taking care of children. 
She later worked for the Longview Independent School District in the cafeteria on the campus 
of Mozelle Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Connie Fowler; her parents; her sister; and one 
brother.

Sandy is survived by her son, Michael Fowler; her grandson, Taylor Fowler; her brothers, Lonny 
Melton, Billy Melton and wife, Pat, Ira Melton Jr. and Sandra; her sisters, Linda Howell and 
her husband, Joe, Peggy Stence and her husband, Eddie Sr., Patty Daniel and her husband, Ronny, 
Vicki Cato and her husband, Wesley, Jan McAfee and her husband, Robert, Barbara Warrick and 
her husband, Carl; and numerous nieces and nephews.
